SMV officially has a more formal blog! Each member of the SMV crew will occasionally post thoughts on our projects, the craft of music supervision, the Guild of Music Supervisors, the latest music, and the industry at large.

WINNER: Best Music Supervision for 'Breaking Bad' at GMS Awards!

Thomas Golubić was the WINNER for Best Music Supervision in a Television Drama for 'Breaking Bad' at the 4th Annual Guild of Music Supervisor Awards. The entire SMV team was thrilled to attend such a fantastic event, and were honored to receive such a complementary award! Thank you to all who have extended their congratulations over the past week!

Art of the Title Named 'Halt and Catch Fire' As the Best Title Sequence of 2014!
We absolutely loved how great this sequence came out. Huge props to Trentemøller for creating the original theme song!
Also included on this list is WGN's Manhattan featuring original music from Jónsi & Alex (of Sigur Rós fame).

SMV's 2014 Shows Have All Been Renewed
So we realized that all of the shows we worked on in 2014 have now been renewed! We feel very fortunate to work on such excellent programming with such talented people involved.

Alison Mosshart and Eric Arjes' "Bad Blood" Available on iTunes and Spotify!
"Bad Blood" by Alison Mosshart and Eric Arjses played during the teaser of episode 506 of AMC's The Walking Dead. Serving as a theme to Carol as we find out what she did after being exiled from the group by Rick.
The song is now available on iTunes and Spotify, and will be included on the forthcoming soundtrack album.
