Back In The Game

Back in the Game is a upcoming half hour comedy starring James Caan and Maggie Lawson that will air this Fall on Wednesday nights on ABC. The series follows a former All-Star softball player whose promising career came crashing down after she had a son, lost her college scholarship, and dumped her loser husband; and her estranged father, a once-promising athlete whose glory days were not as glorious because his career was cut short and has become a beer-guzzling, self-opinionated couch potato. When her son decides to play Little League baseball (despite having no knowledge of the sport whatsoever) and gets rejected along with other misfit hopefuls, she, with the help of a wealthy friend, is thrust back into the sporting world by coaching a new team consisting of the rejects. The show premieres September 25th.
